I currently offer personalized coaching in weightlifting, powerlifting, and hybrid training. Whether you're training for a specific sport or looking to improve overall performance, I tailor programs to fit your individual goals.

The equipment needed depends on your goals and what you have at your disposal. For weightlifting, access to a barbell, weights, and a squat rack is required. The same applies for powerlifting, with the addition of a bench. For hybrid training, I can adjust based on what you have available, including bodyweight exercises or minimal equipment setups.

My programs are adaptable for all fitness levels, including beginners. I ensure a gradual progression so you build a solid foundation before advancing.

My programs are different because they blend evidence-based training methods with a deeply personalized approach that emphasizes both physical and mental performance. If you prefer to receive a program and work independently, that’s absolutely fine, but I like to stay engaged with my athletes, walking alongside them every step of the way—training and even competing with them when possible. This keeps me in tune with the challenges they face and gives me a deeper understanding of what they require as athletes.

Programming will be delivered standard through TrainHeroic. If you have a specific request for a different format, such as spreadsheet or TrainingPeaks etc., please get in touch, and I will do my best to accommodate your preference.

We currently do not offer fixed-length programs, but these will be available soon. If you have a specific goal or event with a set time frame, you can sign up for the personalized coaching option, which you can cancel at any time.

Cancellations must be made with at least 72 hours' notice before the program is released at 12:00 PM every Sunday, so please make any cancellations by 12:00 PM on the Thursday prior, so that I avoid working on your program unnecessarily. I understand that life happens. We’ve all been there.

Yes, while my main focus is on training, I provide general nutritional advice to support performance and recovery. For more specific dietary needs, I recommend consulting a registered nutritionist/dietitian.

Yes! Well, maybe. Whenever it’s possible for me to attend your event in person, I will be there to support you. I currently attend most major weightlifting competitions around New Zealand and can attend most major powerlifting and endurance events in the North Island, schedule and cost permitting. If you have an event coming up, please let me know in advance, and I will do my best to be there.
